Black

Saw this editorial a few minutes ago and I have to admit that I sighed in relief a little. Why? Well, my black nail polish collection will not be going to waste. I know you may probably be wondering as to what kind of an individual I am to care about whether something is still fashionable or not. I don't. Not generally. But I still don't want to be stuck in that really awkward moment like when skinny jeans literally wiped out any appropriate reason to be wearing boot cut. The clothes are pretty badass too.

Metallic

I need a pair of metallic brogues after seeing the Simone Rocha fall/winter 2012 collection (coming soon). I can generally control my consumerist cravings quite well, but I swear to you I think it may be love. This is the closest thing I could find, from Joe Fresh. Too bad they're not silver. Alas, soon, soon my lovelies.

Cracked

I'm sure you've all seen white painted Margiela pieces floating around the blogosphere. Ivania Carpio from Love-Asthetics went ahead and made her own version. I think this is absolutely brilliant. Definitely something I'll be trying when I have some spare time. I have a stack of old jeans I feel bad about not wearing so I think this will be a perfect refashioning tool.

Athletic

Homage to the athletic inspired looks abound for Spring 2012. Like it? Hate it? Will you be dabbling into this trend? It's fantastic eye candy but I'm not sure yet.

Wearing several of the same rings has been popping up allover the blogosphere lately. My take is to twist it up a bit from just simple ones by sliding one of these babies on each digit.

Shades of White

I've always had a love for white interiors. They can range from minimal to extremely dreamy depending on the styling. These are a few photographs from Kelly Behun's portfolio that I find simply breath taking. She's really perfected the white on white theme by rather brilliantly experimenting with texture and shade.
